This Privacy Policy has been adopted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (GDPR). The purpose of this policy is, in particular, to fulfil the information obligation referred to in Articles 13 and 14 of the GDPR.

1. Definitions

In this Privacy Policy, we use the following terms:

  1. Website/Service – the website operated by ŚKL at https://uavconnect.eu/.
  2. User Account – a collection of information about the User and the activities performed by the User within the services described in the Website Terms of Service, enabling their use.
  3. Service – services provided electronically by the Service Provider.
  4. Service Provider, ŚKL, Controller – Śląski Klaster Lotniczy Association, registered office in Kaniów (43-512), ul. Stefana Kóski 43, Tax ID (NIP): 5472085992, National Business Registry Number (REGON): 24086188, National Court Register (KRS): 257988, e-mail: skl@mail.com, phone: +48 33 476 12 26.
  5. User – a natural person acting in their own name, as well as a natural person conducting business activity, using the Website via the Internet.
  6. Website Visitor – any natural person accessing the Website via the Internet without registering or logging into an individual User Account or a Business Entity Account.
  7. Individual User – a natural person acting in their own name, a natural person conducting business activity, or acting on behalf of a legal person or organisational unit without legal personality but capable of acquiring rights and incurring liabilities in its own name, who registers an account dedicated to Individual Users.
  8. Business Entity – a natural person conducting business activity, a legal person, or an organisational unit without legal personality but capable of acquiring rights and incurring liabilities in its own name, who registers an account dedicated to Business Entities (“Companies”).
  9. You, Sir, Madam, You (plural), Client – Website Visitors and Individual Users whose personal data are processed by ŚKL in connection with the use of the Website.

2. Who is the data controller?

The data controller is the entity that determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. The controller of your personal data is Śląski Klaster Lotniczy.

3. Whose personal data do we process?

In connection with our activities, we primarily process the personal data of website visitors and individual users using the Website. The scope of processed data is always adequate to the purposes of processing.

4. What data do we collect through the Website and for what purposes do we use it?

The scope of your data we collect and the purposes of their processing depend on the functionalities of the Website you use:

4.1 Browsing the Website

  • What data do we collect?
    1. Data recorded in server logs (user identified by URL address), including:
    2. information about the user’s browser,
    3. IP address information.
  • For what purpose do we process the data?
    For server administration and statistical analysis of traffic on the Website.
  • Do you have to provide us with your data?
    Providing data is voluntary but necessary for the proper functioning of the Website.
  • On what legal basis do we process your data?
    • performance of the contract for the provision of electronic services – making the Website available (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and
    • our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – ensuring the Website is available and correctly displayed.
  • Who may we share your data with?
    Only when required or permitted by law, in particular to persons operating our IT infrastructure, hosting providers and subcontractors.
  • How long will we process your data?
    For the duration of the contract or our legitimate interest, but at least for the duration of your visit to the Website. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest (see section 8).

4.2 Newsletter

  • What data do we collect? Email address.
  • For what purpose do we process the data? Marketing purposes – sending newsletters, promotions, contests, etc.
  • Legal basis: Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
  • How long? Until you withdraw consent.

4.3 Registration of an Individual User Account and use of Website functionalities

  • What data do we collect? First name, surname, address, e-mail, phone number, login, password, and for entrepreneurs – NIP, company name and other data.
  • Purposes:
    • performance of the account agreement,
    • providing Website functionalities (offers, tenders, communication, etc.),
    • marketing, correspondence, statistics, asserting/defending claims.
  • Legal basis: Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Retention period: For the duration of the account and limitation periods for claims, or until objection where based on legitimate interest.

4.4 Cookies

The Cookie Policy constitutes Annex No. 1 to this Privacy Policy.

5. Automated decision-making and profiling

We currently do not use automated decision-making (including profiling) that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects data subjects.

6. Transfer outside the EEA

Your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area only with appropriate safeguards, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy,
  • rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw consent (where applicable),
  • lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

8. Right to object

You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest, especially for marketing purposes (we will cease processing immediately).

10. Updates to the Privacy Policy
